About us

Established in 1993, we are a charity with 20 fully-trained volunteer mediators, a Service Manager and 2 part-time staff.

We are funded by local authorities and housing associations but we are completely independent and do not report the details of our cases to them.

We have an office in central Cambridge and serve Cambridge, South Cambridgeshire, East Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire.

Our volunteers

All our mediators are trained volunteers. They undergo a rigorous selection process before undertaking an intensive training course accredited by the Open College Network.

If you are interested in training as a community mediator, please contact us by telephoning 01223 302514 or by email.

Mediators are non-judgemental, sympathetic and able to deal with people in stressful situations but able to maintain their own boundaries. They understand the importance of confidentiality and impartiality.
